Will the EcoHitch Stealth Trailer Hitch Fit a 2015 BMW X5 with the M package, not M performance though.

I talked to my contact at EcoHitch and the determining factor with this is whether or not your M package includes the backup sensors or not. If you do not have the backup sensors on your 2015 BMW X5 the ECO-hitch # 306-X7265 will work for you.
If your X5 with the M package includes the backup sensors you won't be able to use the ECO-hitch so you need to go with the Curt # 13077 which has been confirmed for use on the 2015 BMW X5 M Sport or M performance. This hitch recommends that the Curt Cam Buckle Stabilizing Straps # 18050 are used with all non-towing loads such as with a bike rack or hitch mount cargo carrier. The great thing about this Curt hitch is that it is still a concealed cross-tube, like the EcoHitch.
With either of these hitches, in order to tow a trailer you would need a wiring harness, ball mount and hitch ball. For the wiring harness I recommend the Tekonsha ZCI Circuit Protected Wiring Kit # 119250KIT . Since this is a ZCI (zero contact interface) there is no cutting into wires; Zero-contact interface sensors identify the current flowing through each wire by simply clamping onto it which make for easier installation than the alternative Curt # C59236 . The Ball Mount Kit for 2" hitches # 989900 comes with 2 ball mounts, 2 hitch balls and 2 hitch pins that will allow you to connect to a variety of rise and drop measurements and coupler sizes all in one kit.

So. Can i use the Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver - Custom Fit - 2" Item # SH56VR instead of the Curt so i can have the removable receiver for full hidden feature? I will be pulling a small cargo trailer no more that 5X10. Can you please suggest the products i need to purchase for this application? Thanks, 94313
You can definitely go with the Stealth setup for your BMW X5, but you'll need to go with the towing version - which is part # SH85VR . This includes the ball mount to hook up to the trailer and the needed wiring harness to power its signal lights during travel. 69884
