The D-Ring Trailer Tie Down is 6-1/2 inches x 6-1/2 inches across the back of the plate. The bolt holes are 3 inches on center apart by 3-1/4 inches (see picture). The size of the hole needed to recess the D-Ring is approximately 3-1/4 inches and the plate is 1 inch deep with the backing plate.
