The MagnaFlow Pro DPF Series Filter-Back Exhaust System part # MF17874 is California legal or CARB (California Air Resources Board) compliant. You would not have any issues passing an emissions test with this exhaust system installed. The only MagnaFlow systems that are not California legal are the catalytic converters but there are some of those that are legal as well.
