Question:
I have a truck with a Knapheide flatbed, was wondering which of the two adapters will be a good fit for this style of truck bed. If it’s the offset design that will help make clean turns on a fifth wheel RV or will the standard design be just fine?

Due to the size constraints of the gooseneck ball area on your flat bed truck your best option would be the non-offset part # CAB-C5G which would be less likely to interfere with the sides of the cut out area of the gooseneck hitch.
That said you should make sure your truck bed length isn't longer than a standard truck bed as if that is the case the rear of the bed would interfere with the trailer overhang area.
