Question:
Good morning my name is Javahn and my question is I have a 16 foot pontoon boat the trailer is a 16-foot trailer give or take with the tongue add a foot. But my question is how long should the Bunk Boards be? Going off the Bunk Boards that were probably redone at one point but were on the when I bought it its 9 ft 6 1/2 in and and so my question is should they be longer or shorter because to me they dont look right and thats only doing a visual of the pontoon boat on the trailer before I started restoring both the Pontoon and trailer.

There isn't an exact length of bunk boards that are required for pontoon boat bunks but in general around 75 percent of the length of the boat should be the length of the pontoons and you'll be good.
So for a pontoon boat that measures 16 feet your best bunk length would be right at 12 feet.
