Recommended Roof Rack for 2012 Toyota Sienna with Naked Roof

Question:

Which roof rack will fit a 2012 Toyota Sienna with a naked roof? I'm not sure how to find a vehicle compatibility guide if one exists. Really interested in a Rhino rack, but not sure if one will fit the vehicle.

I do have a great option for you, however I checked with Rhino-Rack and they do not list a roof rack confirmed to fit your 2012 Toyota Sienna with the naked roof. I checked with our other roof rack manufactures and nobody has a standard rack system that's designed for the naked roof on this vehicle.

It appears that the vast majority of Siennas from the 2012 model year are equipped with the factory side rails that run front to back so there isn't a demand for a system that mounts to a naked roof.

The only option we have available that will definitely work on the naked roof is the SeaSucker Monkey Bars # 298-SX6000B. This is a really versatile system that uses heavy-duty vacuum cups that mount anywhere on a naked roof, providing you with a lot of adjustability in terms of crossbar placement and also allows for an easy install and removal process.

The rack will give you a weight capacity of 150 pounds. I have attached a short video demonstration that you can check out as well.
