I am happy to help you with comparing the Kuat Transfer2 part # TS02G and the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 part # SH22B. Both the Kuat Transfer2 and the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 are great options for carbon fiber bikes because they hold the bikes by the wheels instead of the frame. The biggest differences between these two bike racks are the wheel cradles, design and the locks.

The Kuat Sherpa 2.0 2-Bike Platform Rack has folding front-wheel cradles so you can fold them out of the way when you want to fold the rack against the vehicle. The wheel cradles of the Transfer do not fold in as you can see in the photo I added of the Transfer folded up. They both will have a foot lever to release the bike rack into tilting position with the bikes still attached however the Sherpa has a handle that also allows you to use your hand so it's a bit more convenient.

The biggest feature of the Sherpa compared to the Transfer is the Sherpa's aluminum construction and cam lock system. The Sherpa does not require an anti-rattle lock like the Transfer because it has a turn knob that allows you to tighten the rack into the hitch to eliminate rattle. The Transfer has an anti-rattle lock so you would need to screw the lock into the hitch each time you wanted to remove or put the rack into the hitch. The Sherpa also has a built in cable lock where the Transfer does not include any locks so you would need to purchase the anti-rattle part # HLT and the cable lock part # 8156DPS.

After looking into both of these bike racks I recommend the Kuat Sherpa part # SH22B because it is going to be easier to use with it's locking system and in my opinion looks nicer with it's sleek design.
