The overall dimensions of the Carpod Walled Cargo carrier # M2200-01-02 are 48-3/4" long x 24" wide x 22" tall. I've attached a picture to visualize these measurements for your reference. I can't say how many golf bags are going to fit in this carrier, since that's going to depend on the total length of the bags with the clubs, as well as the type of golf bags. You're going to be able to fit more Sunday bags/stand bags than you would tour or cart bags. I recommend measuring your bags with the clubs in them to best determine how many bags you'll be able to fit.
If your vehicle has a roof rack, you may want to consider using a rooftop box like the Thule Force XT # TH6359B which has a 22 cu/ft capacity compared to the 14 cu/ft of the Carpod Walled Cargo Carrier. It's more of a premium solution but it has a much sleeker look to it and with a 90-1/2" length you're going to be able to carry golf clubs, skis or even fishing gear.
