Yes. There are several transmission coolers available for your 2012 Chevy Equinox. I recommend the Derale # D13502 which is a plate fin cooler that won't require any additional hardware or hose adapters to work in your Equinox. The plate fins help disperse heat better than a traditional tube fin cooler and this cooler is specifically designed for Chevrolet Equinoxs with late-model, electronic overdrive transmissions. For the best cooling efficiency, you'll want to mount this in front of your air conditioner condenser as shown in the picture attached.
