I was not able to find a part 00955008 in our system or google so I am not sure what that part is to tell you the differences but I can tell you about the MaxxAir FanMate Cover part # MA00-955003.

The MaxxAir FanMate RV and Trailer Roof Vent Cover part # MA00-955003 is designed to be taller than the other MaxxAir vent covers at 10-1/4" tall. For example: the MaxxAir II RV and Trailer Roof Vent Cover part # MA00-933072 is 9-3/8" tall. The MaxxAir FanMate RV and Trailer Roof Vent Cover MA00-955003 allows your vent to open farther compared to the other options for better air flow. It is designed to fit MaxxFan and MaxxFan Plus vents with mounting tabs 2015 or newer.
