Reese Goose Box To Replace Lippert 1116 Pin Box with 20,000 Lb Capacity
Question:
A couple years ago I purchased a M19 pin box from you. Since I dont have the original, I have to assume it was a 1116 pin box from the factory. Since then I have taken if off of the other fifth wheel and put it on our new Montana 3790. It had a 19,000 Road Warrior pin box. Cant find any numbers on that one. Now the question. I would like to put a goosebox on. I am tired of the heavy fifth wheel hitch. It appears that the 1116 would cross over to a 94716-61301. That coupler is only rated for 16K and I am at 16500. I definitely dont want to be under spec. Is there a goose box that will work in place of the 1116 configuration and be rated at 20K?

Yes, the Reese Goose Box 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Air Ride Coupler Adapter part # RP85FR has a 20,000 lb weight capacity and it can be used in place of a Lippert 1116 Pin Box when you obtain the Spacer Kit for Rotating Turret for 5th Airborne and Sidewinder 5th Wheel King Pins part # RP61301.
