How Much Does AddingTrailer Hitch Reduce Ground Clearance on 2022 Volvo XC90
Question:
I would like to add a trailer hitch to my 2022 Volvo XC90 but am a little apprehensive about ground clearance because I would hate to go over a bump or something and have the hitch hit and be ruined. Do you know the clearance with this hitch on a 2022 XC90?

Ground clearance is a pretty common concern, and on some vehicles it can be an issue, but I can happily say that for your 2022 Volvo XC90, ground clearance is not going to a problem whatsoever with the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT82GR.
The reason is, when we installed the # DT82GR on a 2022 XC90, we found that there was about 15" of clearance from the top of the hitch to the ground, which is more than enough to ensure there won't be any contact with the ground for the receiver or any accessory.
