I have the perfect roof rack option for your 2020 Mazda CX5. I recommend the SeaSucker Monkey Bars Roof Rack part # 298-SX6000B which is designed with air tight vacuum cups to attach the roof. The installation is so easy you can remove the rack and put it back on in minutes without any additional tools. Simply press the pump on each cup several times until you no longer see orange on the cup. Then you can pull up on the tab to remove the cup when it's time to remove it. The cups have a pull strength of 210 lbs per cup. Seasucker was here this week to do a demonstration of the bars and the vacuum cups didn't budge even when being pulled on by several people at the same time.
