Will RhinoRack 2 Kayak Carrier Work On Factory Crossbars of Honda Ridgeline Truck

Question:

2019 Honda Ridgeline RTL-E model with Honda accessory rails and crossbars. I have two Hobie Mirage kayaks 2003 versions. Will the product attach to these rails and will it support the weight of the two kayaks?

The Rhino-Rack 2 Kayak Carrier (the 2 kayak carrier is made using # S512 paired with Expansion Arm # RRS512X ) will mount to the factory crossbars on the 2019 Honda Ridgeline without any problems, but from what I was able to find from my research, it might not be able to carry the weight of your Hobie Mirage kayaks. Since this carrier has a 110-lb weight limit, and it appears that your kayaks weigh about 60-lbs each, the Rhino-Rack carrier may not be the best option for you. If you weigh your kayaks and they're under the 110-lb weight limit of the Rhino-Rack carrier, it will work fine.

If your kayaks are too heavy for the Rhino-Rack system, I recommend looking at the Inno Kayak Carrier System # INA455, which will work as long as you've got 27" minimum between the factory crossbars on your Ridgeline. This system comes with heavy duty straps with cam buckles to secure your boats to the posts. For bow and stern tie-downs, we have the etrailer Kayak Tie-Down Kit # e36ZR.
