Can Welded-On Trailer Hub Withstand Sandblasting and Powder Coating

I have a trailer that I will be using to put a fish house on and I want to have it sandblasted and powder coated. They said to remove the axle but it doesn’t have an axle it has a hub assembly welded to the frame of the trailer. Will it withstand the heat of the powder coating booth they say 440° in the booth? Thanks

Your welded-on trailer hubs are likely to be damaged during the process of sandblasting and powder coating which is why you were told to remove the axle. The best option for you, especially since you are converting your trailer to a fish house, is to add new suspension. The easiest and most effective way to do that is to add an axle-less suspension system, such as the Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System # ASR2000S02. This system is rated for 2,000 lbs and requires new hubs # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K but you may need something of a different weight capacity so I have added a link to our options with each of our Timbren systems for you to check out. I have also added a link to video reviews of the Timbrens system which I recommend taking a look at.
