5th wheel hitch concern

Question:

We have a Demco 5th wheel auto slide hitch in our truck and just purchased a camper with the equa-flex pin on trailer, the issue is upon take off or stopping the trailer head seems to twist to a semi vertical position especially when the head of the Demco flex back upon take off or excelleration , is this safe? Seems to me the pin should stay somewhat horizontal to the ground level! And will both hitchhead pivot work with pin pivoting together?

The EquaFlex is a style of suspension hanger but I am assuming you have a Trailair Rota-Flex or Flex Air based on what you mentioned. The pivoting head of the pin box should not rotate like you mentioned but to be sure I am understanding what you have and what you are experiencing could you send me some pictures of setup? Preferably with it in the problematic position you mentioned.
