To flat tow the 2019 Ford F-150 you will need a base plate, tow bar, safety cables, tow bar wiring, supplemental braking system and possibly a high low adapter. It can be expensive to flat tow but I have listed the best value but quality parts that you will need to flat tow the Ford below:

Base Plate- Demco Tabless Base Plate Kit part # DM9519318 because it is the most versatile design with adapters available for most tow bars for compatibility if you decide to go with another brand tow bar in the future. They are also a tabless design so you barely notice them once installed when your not flat towing.

Tow bar- Demco Excali-Bar III Non-Binding Tow Bar part # DM9511013. The Demco Excali-bar is a non-binding with a trigger release that allows you to easily release the tension in the bars even on unlevel ground compared to the other tow bars that require the setup to be completely level or they won't release. It also comes with the safety cables so you won't have to worry about them.

Tow bar wiring- Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit part # RM-15267 which will come with all of the parts that you need to insure that your Ford's lights illuminate with the motor home's lights. It comes with a 6-way for the front of the truck and the coiled cord that you need to connect it to the motor home's 7-way compared to the other kits where you have to purchase the coiled cord separately. I have attached an installation video for your reference.

You also need the Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit for Towed Vehicles part # RM-88400 to be sure the lights of the Ford flash with the motor home lights.

Supplemental braking system- Demco Delta Force Portable Supplemental Braking System part # SM99242 is a proportional recurring setup supplemental braking system. It is a bit more expensive some of the other options but the installation is very simple so you will save money with the installation. The portable system sits on the floorboard and depresses the brake pedal of the Ford when the motor home brakes. I have attached an installation video for your reference.

Finally you may need a high low adapter to tow the vehicle level with the motor home. In order to know how much rise or drop it will require to tow level some measuring is required. I have attached a helpful article that helps you figure out which high low adapter may be needed and our selection of high low adapters.
