Is It Possible To Use Both a Cargo Box and Surf Board Carrier Together

Question:

want to load a luggage pod and 8 foot soft Mailbu sufboard onto a Corolla hatch car with car roof racks. Possible. i am thinking only way is to have surfboard at base and pod on top?

I do have options for you to install both a surf board and cargo box on the roof of a vehicle but you would not be able to do both at the same time as there just simply isn't space. I am also not aware of any way to secure a surf board under a cargo box or a surf board on top of a cargo box. I am sure it would physically mount one of these two ways but it would not be safe at all because there is no way to securely attach either.

That said, you could use the Rightline Gear Car Back Carrier part # RL100B90 on the rear and then carry the surf board on top with the Inno Board Locker Surfboard Carrier part # INA744. If not, you would just need to carry the cargo box and surf board separately. The Thule Pulse Medium Rooftop Cargo Box part # TH614 is a good option for a small vehicle.
