How Much Room on RV Frame Does Lippert Ground Control Middle and Rear Jacks Take Up

Question:

Interested in how much frame room is required for the mid and rear mounting brackets, I have a 42foot 5th wheel and have very limited room of open frame in front of the tires due to steps and black water plumbing.

The middle and rear jack mounting brackets of the Lippert Ground Control 3.0 Electric 5th Wheel RV Leveling System w Touchpad and Remote - 6-Point Set # LC675817 that you referenced are a total of 6 inches in width. That's how much free room you'd need on your RV's frame.

Question:

Now that I find there is not enough room between the steps and tire, can these Jacks be rotated 90 deg from there designed mounting, I understand it would require a custom fabricated mounting plate off the frame.

The jack motors on the rear and middle jacks of this kit would still operate fine if they were rotated 90 degrees relative to their mounting brackets. That said we don't have a specific way we can recommend you custom mount them in a different orientation.
