Question:
I have a 2012 Ram 2500 4WD and we just bought a travel trailer. Ive been looking into the various types of weight distribution hitches to have a better towing experience. Ive never used one before but I do understand how it works. I also use my truck to haul wood for firewood and the loads arent extreme but are heavy at times, for this Ive been looking at the Timbren SES to help with reducing sag and overall ride quality. Heres my question, are there any advantages or disadvantages if I install the timbren ses and use it with a E2 style weight distribution hitch when towing my travel trailer.

The Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TDR2500CA that fits your 2012 Ram 2500 and a weight distribution system, the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution # FA92-00-1000, provide different benefits to your truck, and using both is a good idea based on how you described using your Ram.
Since you use your truck to haul loads and not just tow, the Timbrens are going to offer your Ram's suspension the necessary support compared to hauling those loads without the Timbren's. When towing your travel trailer, the Timbrens are not going to offer as much benefit if your weight distribution is properly set up; that said there isn't any disadvantage to having suspension enhancement and weight distribution (in fact, the combination can only be helpful). The Fastway is going to transfer the weight of the trailer and distribution it across the axles to even out your ride when towing, which is something the Timbrens can't do.
I have added links to video reviews of the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TDR2500CA as well as the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution # FA92-00-1000 for you to check out.
