The Curt Class III Ball Mount with 2" Ball # C45036 fits a standard 2" trailer hitch receiver. Since standard receivers have a 5/8" hitch pin hole that is the size of the pin that comes with this kit.
You might want to double check that you have a 2" receiver by measuring the inside height and width of your trailer hitch receiver and that your hitch pin holes have a 1/2" diameter because the only time that a 1/2" pin is used is for a 1-1/4" receiver.
