Question:
Im trying to decide which lighting system to use on my new CRV. Not sure about drilling into the tailight housing to mount the 155 separate lighting system and since the CRV has separate amber turn signal lamps not sure whether the 154 will function properly by connecting to the red running/stop/turn lamps. Of course I could avoid both those options and simply use the deluxe magnetic system. What do you recommend? Thank you for your assistance.

First, if you are going to be towing the CR-V frequently a more permanent solution for lighting is more ideal. The bulb and socket kit would be my first choice (# RM-155) because you do not have to cut into the vehicle wiring and it is easier to install.
If you do not want to drill into the back of the tail light housing but are not opposed to tapping into the vehicle wiring, you can use a diode kit # 154-792-118158. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you to view.
If you do not want to drill or cut and/or will be towing the vehicle rarely, then a magnetic kit like # RM-2120 (4-Way flat connector) would be ideal. It really comes down to how often you will be towing. I have included a link to an FAQ that covers the various options for you.
