Can B&W Tow & Stow Pintle Hook Attachment Be Used on 2-Ball Tow & Stow Ball Mount
Question:
I have a 2 ball tow and stow. Without having to buy a new shank, can I purchase the Bandw pintle attachment and just take the double ball attachment off and swap back and forth as needed? I’ve seen a clevis attachment so I’m curious about the pintel attachment.

This is a really good question. I reached out to my contact at B&W to see if it was possible to use the pintle hook attachment from the B&W Tow & Stow # BWTS10056 with your 2-Ball Tow & Stow like # BWTS10037B and he said unfortunately it cannot be done. He said the pin blocks on the pintle version are reinforced differently so the same component cannot be used with both shanks. They just aren't physically compatible.
The only way to have the pintle version Tow & Stow is to obtain the full assembly with part # BWTS10056.
