In order to replace the dual locking hitch pins on a Weigh Safe 2-Ball Mount like part # WS8-2 you will need to use the Replacement Locking Dual Pin Assembly part # WS03 or the Locking Dual Pin Assembly and Hitch Pin Set part # WS06 if you want to make sure to match all the locks. I spoke with Weigh Safe about the dual hitch pins breaking and they informed me that it could be an issue with the pin alignment due to the holes becoming oblong therefore the solution would be a new platform, the Replacement Hitch Ball Platform part # WS01 or a new shank, the Replacement Shank part # DB8-2. I recommend inspecting the hitch pin holes on both the ball platform and shank to confirm this. I am not aware of this being a common issue.
