Question:
Just bought a 2020 Sierra 3500 long bed no prep package and I'm needing to purchase a 5th wheel hitch. I like the Curt options but I can't decide between the A25 and the Q25. Which one do you recommend and why? I appreciate it!

Congrats on the new vehicle purchase!
The main differences between the A25 # C16180 and Q25 # C16265 are that the A25 has a fully articulating torsion head and a 2-jaw system that overlaps while the Q25 had a spherical axial bearing for 360 degree head movement and an older 2-jaw system where there is a little space between the jaws. I recommend going with the A25 as it is the upgraded Q25 and the overlapping jaws provide a much more secure connection to the king pin. Please note that the Q-Series 5th wheel hitches from Curt are not compatible with rotating pin boxes.
Since you don't have the OEM prep package you need to install a base rail kit like the Custom Kit # C16429-204. The only down-side to using a base rail kit is that the rails stay in your bed even when you aren't towing so they can get in the way when hauling loads. If you'd like to avoid this you can use the B&W Underbed Installation Kit # BWGNRK1020-5W (which doubles as a gooseneck hitch) and then the Adapter Kit # DM6140 so that you can install the A25. This is definitely more pricey and means that you have to keep track of the adapter, but it does mean you have a completely clear bed when you aren't towing.
I have attached the installation instructions and some videos for you to check out.
