Curt Hitch C13073 versus Draw-Tite 75684 for 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe
Question:
What is the difference between Curt C13073 versus Draw-Tite 75684? One seems to be squared tube and the other round tube. Which is better? Thanks.

Expert Reply:
Curt offers a round tube Class III receiver, part # C13073, but to satisfy their warranty requirements, a stabilizer strap # 18050 needs to be used for non-trailer loads like a bike rack or cargo carrier. If you intend on only using the receiver for towing, the Curt would be a good choice.
The Draw-Tite # 75684 is constructed of square-tube steel. Because of the spoiler on top of the hatch, the stabilizer strap will not work well on the Santa Fe, so for a bike rack or cargo carrier, the Draw-Tite hitch would be a better choice as the strap is not needed.
Both hitches would fit your 2011 Santa Fe as long as it does not have a dual exhaust, with the tailpipe on drivers and passenger side.
There is not an available hitch for the Santa Fe with dual exhaust.
To complete your towing system, you might also need the following:
Trailer wiring harness, part # 118415, or # 118258 for vehicles equipped with the tow package
Ball mount, part # D-4
1-7/8 inch trailer ball, part # 19260
2 inch trailer ball, part # 63845
Pin and clip, part # PC3
Locking hitch pin, part # e98882
I have linked you to install instructions and videos.
