Trailer Hitch Receiver Fit for 2-Wheel Drive 2016 Honda HR-V

24932. Can this hitch fit the 2wd/LX version of the HRV? What would it require? Thanks.

There is a trailer hitch receiver that fits your 2-wheel drive model of 2016 Honda HR-V, but not the one you referenced because it is only a fit for the all-wheel drive. The two trailer hitches that fit your '16 HR-V with 2WD are the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11416 (pictured) and EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7322.

Of these two I recommend the option from Curt because it is more economical and simpler to install. I have added a link to a video install of the Curt on a '16 HR-V as well as the installation instructions for you to take a look at.

Additionally, if you plan on doing some light towing with this hitch you'll need T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118673 (I've also linked an install video for this harness on a '16 HR-V), Ball Mount # C45521, Pin and Clip # F-4, and either 1-7/8" Hitch Ball # A-80 or 2" Hitch Ball # A-82, depending on the size of your trailer's coupler.
