Question:
I have a Ram 1500 and the auxiliary power pin is not getting power to charge the battery on my dump trailer. Any suggestions on what may be the issue?

Typically, this has to do with a missing or blown fuse. According to the online version of your owner's manual, the Trailer Tow 30-amp pink fuse can be found in cavity F30, in the fuse box (Power Distribution Center) under the hood of your 2014 Ram 1500.
If the fuse is present and in good working condition, I recommend testing for power behind the 7-way connector. If you do get power there, but not at the pin, the solution is to replace the connector with # PK11893 for just a 7-way or # HM40975 for a 7-and 4-Pole combo.
