Weight Distribution Setup for Trailer With Pole Tongue and Heavier Tongue Weight
Question:
Is this system compatible with Item # RP3280 the Reese Pole Tongue adapter?
asked by: Brett M
Expert Reply:
We can only recommend Reese weight distribution systems for use with their pole tongue adapters, and based on the weight range of the # C17057 and the picture you sent in you'd want the higher rated pole tongue adapter part # RP58393 which is rated for up 1,400 lbs tongue weight.
Then for a weight distribution system you'd want the # RP66131 which has a tongue weight range of 800 to 1,500 lbs. For a hitch ball you'd want the part # C40030 and for a shank part # RP63971 and you'd be set.
Curt does not have a pole tongue adapter for use with their system either.
