The Curt Class V Hitch, # C15409, that you referenced is for 3/4 and 1 ton trucks and will not fit on your 2011 Dodge Ram 1500.
The Curt Class V Hitch, # C15572, is the Class V hitch that we carry for your truck, however, it will not fit on your truck if you have a factory installed hitch. Most factory installed hitches on newer Dodge trucks are welded on to the round frame cross tube behind the bumper and the Class V hitch that we carry for your truck will not fit around that hitch.
If your factory hitch is bolted and not welded to the frame, then you may be able to remove the hitch by removing the bolts and install the new hitch using the existing bolt holes. This hitch will come with all of the necessary installation hardware.
I have attached the installation instructions and a video of a Curt hitch being installed on a 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 for you to check out. This installation video shows that the new hitch must bolt to the frame cross tube and rear bumper.
