Tuson Sway Control Location and Orientation
Question:
Hello I have a 7.5x27’ v nose all aluminum enclosed trailer. I purchased the tuson sway control and upon going to install it I noticed I can’t mount the control box with the sticker facing the front of the trailer with how the beams are set up. I am however able to mount it with it facing the rear. Will it function properly if mounted in the center of the trailer, 10ft from the ball location, facing the rear? Thank you

The instructions for the orientation of the Tuson Sway Control part # 335TSC-1000 when installed are very specific. The red dot on the label has to be at the trailer's center line and the arrows on the label that say "Mount with this side UP" has to be followed as well. You need to have the module mounted between 5 and 10 feet behind the coupler as well. It looks like your trailer will be a bit of challenge to pull all of this off but your worst case scenario would require you to fabricate a mounting bracket. Maybe a local welder could help.
