Question:
how does the invisibrake by roadmaster progressive braking work when on uphill grade or downhill grade? is it just the same as on flat? can you give me some idea of how the controller ramps up the brake force and when it finds its maximum? i worry that a setting that is safe going downhill through the mountains on US 64 between Cimarron and Eagle Nest would be way too much for the uphill or flat sections. also thank you for the super video on installation of the demco stay and play in 2015 ford edge. as our toad is 2019 edge could you please confirm that the second line splice in the video is the line to the power brake booster? best regards.

For an application where steeper inclines will be traveled on the Invisi-Brake # RM-8700 would not be my first choice for a supplemental braking system since the braking pressure when you apply the tow vehicle's brakes will always be the same pressure. Instead I'd recommend the DUO part # SM99251 which is a similar type of system but uses an inertia sensor to detect how hard you are applying the tow vehicle brakes and applies a proportionate amount of braking to the towed vehicle's brakes. The install is overall easier than the Invisi-Brake too.
The second line splice you mentioned in the video of this on the 2015 model would be the same on your 2019 model as well. I attached linked to the install video for you to check out too.
Question:
Thank you so much! I was leaning to the SMI Duo. I'm going with the Roadmaster Falcon 2 AT and base plate and have the wiring kit, smart diode kit and battery disconnect on the way as well. We'll be hooking to a 7-pin on a Newmar Ventana LE. The toad is 2019 Ford Edge ST. Are there other parts in addition to the Duo I'll need? I believe it already has a battery charging line. Maybe a brake light switch? I don't know, please advise.

To install the DUO you do not need any additional components. A brake light switch is not needed.
