how do u mount it over the exsisting vent cover or do u have to remove exsisting cover and hardware?

This product, the Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent, part # V2092SP-28 replaces your existing roof vent in your trailer. You will need to remove the existing vent cover and hardware in your current trailer. The roof vent fits into a 14-1/4 inch square rough opening in your trailer roof and works with roofs that are up to 3 inches thick.
We also offer an install kit that includes the necessary hardware and sealant to install the vent. The part is # 344270KITW.
