Would Trailer Hitch and Wiring from 2017/2018 RDX Also Fit 2020 Acura RDX
Question:
Hi, My wife is trading in her 2017 RDX and a friend wants the Reese hitch class 3 receiver for his wife’s new in 2 months 2020 RDX. The 2018 next gen uses the same hitch but the 19 and 20’s on the website look like a different part number for the brands offered for the RDX now. WILL the one from our 17 fit the 20 ? Also , will the wiring kit curt 56008 work also .... ? Thanks ,

There is a big enough difference between the 2017/2018 Acura RDX models and the 2020 that they had to come out with a new hitch fit. So the 2020 would require the part # 76268 that you referenced and you would not be able to reuse the hitch from the older RDX.
The same is true for the trailer wiring as well. You'd have to go with the # 118800 on the 2020 model and you'd be set.
