Starting with the trailer hitch for your 2020 Toyota RAV4, I specifically recommend the Curt Class III # C13416 because of its superior black powder coat finish that will do a better job of fighting off corrosion for a longer lasting unit compared to the alternative options available. This Class III hitch features custom mounting brackets that will line up to existing holes in the RAV4's frame rails for a simple bolt-on installation and the hitch itself is made right here in the USA.

Then in order to power the trailer's signal lights you will need to add a wiring harness to the RAV4. For this I recommend the Curt T-Connector # C56434. This custom harness will plug into ports behind the trim panels in the vehicle's cargo area and receive power by running a hot lead up to the battery. This will provide you with a 4-Way connector to hook up to the trailer so that its signal lights illuminate in correspondence to the RAV4's.
