Question:
Instructions for 2015 Dodge Durango says to run wire to battery post in engine compartment. Can I run wire inside the vehicle to main battery located under passenger seat? Any issues with having power wire inside vehicle?

The hot lead for the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118617 can indeed be run to the positive post on the battery you mentioned under the passenger seat of your 2015 Durango. This is the vehicle's main battery, as the terminals under the hood simply feed from this unit. This just gives you the option of running the hot lead to that terminal under the hood or directly to the battery in the cab. Whichever method is easiest for you is the right method!
I have attached an install video below that you can also use for reference.
