What Size Drop for Weigh Safe Ball Mount

I am trying to decide whether to go with the 10inch or the 8inch . The top of my receiver is approximately 23 1/2inch 2019 F250 4x4 from the ground. The lowest trailer I have is about 14inch 6x12 single axle cargo trailer and I have a 16foot flatbed trailer that is about 15. Considering both of these, I am leaning towards the 10, however I am concerned about ground clearance. Would the 10inch cause any ground clearance issues or should I go with the 8?

For your 2019 F250 I recommend the Weigh Safe 2-Ball Mount w/ Built-In Scale with 10" Drop, 11" Rise # WS10-25. It's ideal to have your trailer level when towing, but sometimes that's not easily possible. Having the nose point up too much, can cause the tongue weight to be low enough that the trailer may begin to sway, so nose down is a better option.

The ball mount has adjustments in 1" increments, so you'll be able to hook up almost perfectly level to both of your trailers. It has a 2" ball that can tow up to 8,000 lbs, and a 2 5/16" ball that can tow up to 18,500 lbs. The built in tongue weight scale is really nice, makes loading your trailer safely that much easier and gives you the piece of mind while you're traveling.

As far as ground clearance goes, any ball mount with a drop will effect ground clearance. However, the overall length of the Weigh Safe 2-Ball Mount # WS10-25 is 13". So if the hitch is 23 1/2 inches high, that leaves 10 1/2" of clearance to the bottom of the mount.

I linked the parts mentioned above, as well as a video for you to check out.
