Lift Kit Solution to Allow Fifth Wheel Trailer to Sit More Level When Towed

Question:

Whats the best option to raise rear of trailer? already has flipped axle or spring on top of springs was stock. My 5th wheel hitch is 17inch from floor of bed its a Curt 20K slider and is already at lowest setting. Buy a lower hitch ? Which would work with my rails and be lower? Raise trailer with lifting blocks and longer U-bolts? Trailer has Trailair pin box and Ive already adjusted that all the way up? Should i go back to stock pinbox? looking for assistance...Thanks

We have lift kits for trailer that easily add 2 inches to the height of the trailer. For that you'd want the part # LC407131 and you'd be set. I attached a picture that shows how it installs to give you an idea. This would be the easiest solution to your situation.

Yes, the lift kit I mentioned is a better idea that adding blocks between your leaf springs and axles. Adding length there puts more stress on the leaf springs which may not be an issue in the short term but over time would wear the springs out quicker.
