Comparing Trailer Hitches for 2019 Toyota Highlander
Question:
I am getting a trailer hitch for my 2019 Toyota Highlander but trying to choose the right/best one....seems like a lot of options and wondering if you can cut through the excess and compare them for me? Thanks!

We do have 3 trailer hitches designed to fit your 2019 Toyota Highlander, so I certainly understand your feeling of being a bit overwhelmed. The available hitches can be pretty easily broken down into two categories; hidden and non-hidden.
The etrailer # e98844 and the Curt # C13200 represent the non-hidden models where the entirety of the crosstube and receiver will be visible on the vehicle. This usually allows for a bit of an easier installation, and higher towing capacities. They can both be used with weight distribution systems, but they don't look as nice.
If you are concerned with maintaining the factory appearance of your new Highlander, you will want to go with a hidden-crosstube model, the EcoHitch # 306-X7250 trailer hitches. This hitch costs more and is a bit more difficult to install, but it's the price we pay for beauty.
