Trailer Hitch Receiver with Best Ground Clearance on 2020 Toyota RAV4
Question:
Hi! Would it be possible to tell me which 2 inch trailer hitch gives the best ground clearance on my vehicle? I feel like that's a big concern maybe......i have a 2020 Toyota RAV4. Thank you the info you can provide.

When we installed the Curt Class III # C13416 and Draw-Tite Class III # DT82QR Trailer Hitches on the 2019 model RAV4 we actually found that they had identical ground clearance measurements when mounted. This will be the case on your new 2020 Toyota RAV4 so neither option offers an advantage in this regard. I will say though that on this particular vehicle ground clearance shouldn't really be an issue as the receiver sits high enough off the ground to prevent any contact, even when going down a driveway or over bumps in the road.
Both hitches also feature a nice hidden-crosstube design to maintain a clean appearance on the vehicle and will use the same existing holes in the RAV4's frame rails for a simple bolt-on installation.
Between these two options though I do recommend the Draw-Tite # DT82QR because it features higher towing and tongue weight capacities (4,500 pounds and 675 pounds vs 4,000 pounds and 600 pounds) indicating a stronger overall unit.
