I just got a 2019 Ram 2500, it does not have OEM goose neck ball port, and safety chain ports my 2016 Ram did have OEM ports. I have purchased the Curt 60633 from etrailer and just want to double check, Is this system compatible with my Anderson fifth wheel hitch system. Also, I see there is a 1 1/2 inch off set in that receiver . Mounting the Curt with the ball closest to the tailgate would give me 1 1/2 more clearance to the truck cab. Does it matter which way around that Curt Ball receiver is installed??

The Curt hitch gooseneck hitch # C60633 that you referenced is a confirmed fit for your 2016 Ram 2500 with a short bed and no OEM rail kit and also is compatible with your Andersen fifth wheel hitch Ultimate setup.

While there does seem to be some offset built into the ball location on the plate it was not intended to be optional which side faces the tailgate of your truck. You'll have to follow the instructions to place the ball where it needs to be which is where it was tested to be the safest.
