Trailer Hitch Mount Bike Rack for a Frame Mounted Trailer Hitch on a Trailer

I have had a receiver frame mounted to the back of my trailer. The welder/installer told me it is good up to 600 pounds. I also have Curt 45810 receiverwithout the ball that i can use for extra clearance. Would this be sufficient for the 64690 or 64665?

There are only certain bike racks that can be used at the back of a trailer or motor home. I have included a link to them for you to view. The 4-bike rack compatible with an RV or trailer that has the most clearance is the Swagman XP, # S64940. If measures 12 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the back of the upright bar.

I do not recommend using any kind of extension or dual purpose ball mount like # D210. The distance from the rear axle on a trailer or RV and the receiver is longer than on a passenger vehicle. This produces much more shook on anything loaded in the hitch. Using an extension will produce even more torque and a good bump could easily surpass that 600 pound tongue weight capacity.
