Husky Weight Distribution Bar Adjustments For New Tow Vehicle

Question:

I recently bought a new RV camper and pulled it home with a Dodge Ram 1500 pickup. I now have a 2019 Nissan Pathfinder to tow it. What adjustments do I need to make to the Husky WD in order to tow it? Jst the brackets on the RV frame, or the whole system including the hitch? Thanks

One adjustment that could be needed is the rise or drop required for your towing setup. If your current shank setup does not provide the needed rise or drop, a replacement weight distribution shank like the Equal-i-zer Weight Dist Shank # EQ90-02-4400 could be used. To determine the rise or drop needed, included is a help article sharing the measurements you will want to take.

You will also want to adjust the weight in your trailer and then add the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of your tow vehicle to make sure that it lands between the tongue weight range of your Husky Center Line system.

Included are video resources with more information on these solutions plus the Help Article.
