7-Way/4-Way Adapter Recommendation that Has Both Connectors Active
Question:
I want to Put Hopkins 40974, Multi-Tow® Exact Fit OEM replacement 7 Blade and 4 Flat Towing Connector. I already have the 4 pin connection. Will this adaptor power both sides? If not what is the correct part?

The 4-way and the 7-way sides of the 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Socket # HM40975 are both active at the same time but you'd most likely find that accessing both connectors at the same time would be challenging due to the lid design of the adapter.
A better option that uses the same round connector is the part # 30955 which gives you both trailer wiring connectors active at the same time.
