I haveA Winnebago 2455. I am looking at a 1500 series truck for towing and wondering what configuration and brand I should buy that could handle this weight.I’m looking at used so everything I look at is just very confusing to me at this point

It looks like the the Winnebago Minnie 2455BHS loaded weight is 7,000 lbs so you would need a truck that can tow well over 7,000 lbs. That is the number I found for the 2455BHS so you may want to double check and make sure that is the model you are looking at.
We normally recommend a 3/4 ton or 1 ton truck to tow but if the 1/2 ton has the right towing capacity then it can do the job. The most popular towing trucks are Ford Super Duty F-250/F-350, Ram 2500/3500, Chevy Silverado 2500/3500 or GMC Sierra 2500/3500.
I am not sure which year truck you are looking at but I recommend one with a diesel motor because they have more torque. I have attached a helpful article about the best towing vehicles for fifth wheel but it will be the same for your travel trailer.
