Does Tekonsha Primus Brake Controller Need to be Reset to Clear Error Codes

Question:

Do we need to reset the primus brake control once we replace the broken wires? We hooked up the rv and we are still getting a 5s error code.

The error codes of the Tekonsha Primus # TK90160 are designed to automatically reset when the issue has been resolved. If you are still getting an SH code that would indicate that a short is still present on the circuit. Keep going over the wiring looking for additional broken/exposed wires and fix as needed.
