We haven't had the chance to install the Curt Roof Rack for Raised Side Rails # C18118 on a 2010 Subaru Forester like yours so I can't give you the number off hand but I can give you a really easy way to determine what you are looking for. Measure from outside to outside on the roof rails and subtract that number from 53-3/8 inches. That would be how far the bars would over hang.
