Fork Mounted Truck Bed Bike Rack Solution that Has Tonneau Cover Rails Attached to Bed Rails

Question:

I have a silverado 2500, 6-foot bed. I have installed a flip-back bed cover that has a rail/track that butts up against the inside of the bed rail, thus it does not have a flat surface to tighten too. I like this bike rack system and would like to purchase it, but worry the connection to the bed will not be solid. Do you have an optional connection or do you feel the rail about 1 1/2 inches wide, 1/2 inch thick, will connect ok. I have attached a photo of the rail to see if it would help.

Your tonneau covers rail system would interfere with a bed rail style of truck bed bike rack. Would you consider a different style rack like the ones that fit over the rear tailgate? Or attach to truck bed floor.

Question:

Yes, we would consider one that sits in the bed, for two bike only. Perfereably one that you do not need to remove the front wheel of the bike. Do you have one to suggest?

We had a customer come up with a way to install the Swagman Pick-Up Truck-Bed-Mounted 2 Bike Carrier # S64702 in a truck bed like yours that had a camper shell that I attached a picture of. I think this would be your best and easiest solution.
