Does Curt Trailer Hitch C13205 Fit 2015 Nissan Murano AWD
Question:
Trying to make sure I am getting the correct hitch for my 2015 Nissan Murano CVT AWD. I see the hitch says something about it fits the Murano except the AWD ones. Is the a special hitch for the AWD models?

I checked with Curt just now and they list the # C13205 as a fit for all models of the 2015 Nissan Murano including the all wheel drive models so it will fit and work well for you. If you check out the picture I attached you can see the hitch installed on a similar Murano and also that there's an AWD badge on the vehicle to show that it fits this model for sure.

Follow up Questions
I bought this hitch for my Nissan Murano and It looks like it would fit but the bolts that is came with seem a bit to large. They are listed as M12 1.25 x 30 MM. Does anyone know what size I need? 75921
As long as you have a 2015-2020 Nissan Murano, the Curt # C13205 is a good fit and the included hardware is correct. Sometimes the hardware can seem too large because of corrosion or debris that's built up inside the weld nuts/holes on the frame rails. Try cleaning them out with some WD-40 and a wire brush (it might take a couple tries) and then try to line up the bolts again. I linked a great article below on this exact subject. @ChrisR Thanks so much for advice. Everything went well after sticking with it. It took some work but I did get the bolts in all the way. I cleaned them out with PB blaster and a wire brush. I think the lubricant had to really sit in there for day to work but I got it. Thanks for your quick response. I did leave a review for etrailer. 62272
@Dan That's great to hear. Some installs are harder than others just because of the type of debris/corrosion that might be built up in those weld nuts - vehicle age, climate, etc all factor into this. I'm glad you were able to get it without TOO much trouble though! 62411
