Below Bed Base Rails for 2002 Ford F-250 and Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch

Can I use Demco Hijacker Autoslide 8550034 in 02 F250 crewcab. Which bed rail mounts will I need? A guy selling a used one said to get above bed, but etrailer site said one doesnt work with truck but 21k with underbed rails will work?

You can absolutely use the 18,000 lb Demco Hijacker Autoslide with the underbed rails on your 2002 Ford F-250 crew cab. What you need are the following:

- Underbed Rail and Installation Kit for Demco Hijacker # DM8551000
- Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch with Slider - 18,000 lbs # DM8550022

As you mentioned, this is also compatible with the 21,000 lb version of the Hijacker # DM8550037. Additionally, if your '02 F-250 has the factory 7-way but you need a 5th wheel wiring harness the correct part is the Pollak 5th Wheel / Gooseneck T-Connector # PK11893-11932.

It looks like that is the above-bed Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch with Slider # DM8550034.

If so, then the correct bed rails for your 2002 Ford F-250 are the Demco Hijacker Premier Series Above-Bed Base Rails and Custom Installation Kit for 5th Wheel Hitches # DM8552006-71.

The part number 6077 you referenced is the Head and Base Assembly # DM6077. If you only have the head and base, but not the side rails on the hitch, you need the Replacement Side Plates for Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches - Underbed Mount # DM6004

That head and base plus the side rails will give you the Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # DM8550022.

To mount this hitch on underbed base rails in your 2002 Ford F-250 you need the Underbed Rail and Installation Kit # DM8551000.
